Head Coach

Andre Godfrey

Coach Andre Godfrey, born in Queens New York, a graduate of Iona University, has over 30 years of experience as a fitness professional, where he has trained college and semi-pro basketball players. With over 25 years of coaching experience, from middle school all the way up to semi-pro players.

Corvuss Basketball Academy

As the former top assistant men’s basketball coach at City College of New York, he served as a one-on-one skill developer, strength and conditioning coach, and recruiting Coordinator.

Andre Godfrey has designed exercise programs for the athletes during the preseason and in-season workouts to strengthen the overall team. He has made 85% of the players substantially stronger. He also provides leadership and mentorship for academic success for the students on his roster.

He was a former 1st Assistant at Bronx Community College, where he conducted personalized one-on-one skill development for each player (perimeter and post). Also, he has designed an offensive and defensive system that fits the players currently on his rosters.

As an AAU Head Coach, he led his teams to nine AAU championship tournament wins over the last two spring seasons. Additionally, he achieved a national title championship in spring 2022 in Boston, Massachusetts.

Achievements

Girls

  • U-18, State Tournament – Our athletes represented Raigarh District , and won the 4th position
  • U-18, 3×3 came Third in the Zonal Championship
  • Sneha and Muskan represented Maharashtra in the U-18 Nationals
  • Muskan represented Maharashtra in the U-16 Nationals
  • Muskan was called for the Maharashtra Khelo India team
  • U-19 ISSO Games Corvuss girls won the – tournament, Laxmi was awarded as the MVP Muskan, Anjali, Kajal, Sneha, Anusree and Laxmi represented ISSO in the National School Games in Delhi
  • Muskan was selected for the NBA camp in Abu Dhabi

Boys

  • U-18, Represented Raigarh District in State Championship and came Fourth
  • U-16, represented Raigarh District in State Championship and won the tournament
  • Corvuss won the Asian challenge trophy conducted by the Asian school, Dehradun
  • Zain and Prabhat represented Maharashtra in the U-18 Nationals
  • Zain, Yogesh, Zephan represented Maharashtra in the U-16 nationals
  • U-19 ISSO – Corvuss boys were tournament winner, Yogesh was awared as the MVP
  • Aryan, Aaryan, Yogesh, Suraj represented ISSO in the National School Games in Delhi
