Ganesh Chaturthi, the auspicious Hindu festival celebrating the birth of Lord Ganesha, was celebrated with great enthusiasm and devotion at Corvuss American Academy. It was time for our Student Council Election, where our students took their first steps into leadership and responsibility.
Our Student Council plays a vital role in making our school an even better place to learn. They’re the ones behind the scenes, organizing exciting events and listening to your ideas and needs.
During this election, every single one of our students had a voice, and we’re proud to say that our dedicated teachers and school staff joined in too! It was an incredibly suspenseful moment as we waited to see who would emerge as our student leaders.
The students who get elected have a significant responsibility. They’ll learn valuable life skills, such as decision-making and leadership, as they work hard to enhance our school community.
Dussehra, also called Dasara or Vijayadashami, in Hindu religion, was celebrated with much fervor and enthusiasm by the Ravens, girl residents, at Corvuss Academy.
The function was held on Monday, October 23rd, outside girls dorm. The event commenced with an Arti and specially choreographed dance by corvuss girls. The surroundings outside the girls dorm was adorned beautifully with lights and other decorative materials, special festival food counters. The staff n children wore ethnic and traditional attired,
It was a fun filled day with culminating with garbha dance which was participated by all who were present there.
